Elijah Bristow State Park is a fantastic mountain bike destination that is minutes away from Eugene. The park has 10 miles of single-track riding. Though rocky in spots, the trails are mostly easy--perfect for beginners and children. The scenery changes from forest, to grassy meadow, to the banks of the Willamette River. The park makes a great place for a summer afternoon mountain bike ride, picnic, and swim.

This is a multiple use park and is popular with equestrians. Please take a moment to read the introductory section about how to approach horses on the trail.

To find the park, take Highway 58 east toward Lowell. Once past Pleasant Hill, keep an eye out for the Elijah Bristow State Park sign, 8.5 miles from I-5. Take the left off the highway; at the stop sign, turn right onto Immigrant Road. The horse parking lot is 0.3 miles down Immigrant. You can park here, or continue to the main entrance a short distance beyond. There are several possible loops to ride. All the routes eventually circle back to the main road.
