Koch Summer Fellowship Program
The Koch Summer Fellow Program is a paid, 10 week internship program that offers placements for students and recent graduates interested in federal or state public policy. All internships include participation in the Washington, DC opening and closing workshops, a $1,500 stipend, travel reimbursement, and housing (or a housing allowance). Internships are located both in Washington DC and in 40 different states. Deadline: January 31, 2009.  

Summer Journalism Internships  
Paid placements in print and broadcast journalism. Deadline: January 31, 2009. 

Summer Production Internships  
Paid internships in film, screenwriting, video game production, animation and more. Deadline: March 1, 2009.

Property Rights Alliance in Washington DC offers a fellowship to a graduate student interested in property rights and global affairs, to work on the International Property Rights Index. Deadline: March 15.

Grants for Academic Work on Ayn Rand
Various grants available for academic work on Ayn Rand. Fellowships and funds for multi-year research and teaching; project grants; travel and visiting scholar grants; and scholarships for course tuition. Gifts are made only to institutions, not individuals. 

Grants for Philosophy and Education
Spencer Foundation will fund research proposals up to $40,000 on Philosophy and Educational Policy and Practice.

Grants for Profound Questions of Nature and Humanity
$30,000 grants available for the transdisciplinary exploration of the most profound questions of nature and humanity by five or more university based scholars.
  

Senior Fellow, Science and Religion, Metanexus Institute
Metanexus Institute created the position of Senior Fellow in 2003 as an important endeavor to promote interdisciplinary scholarship and engage a broader audience in the Metanexus vision.

A symposium offering contemporary perspectives on Rand’s magnum opus, both as philosophy and as literature. All sessions will include question periods, and an open reception with the speakers will be held immediately afterwards.
