Music and Dance Faculty Pool
The School of Music and Dance periodically hire instructors
for temporary, part-time, and limited duration positions, as well
as teachers for the Community
Music Institute Program. These appointments are normally for
the duration of one year and are nonrenewable without a competitive
search. Applications will be accepted on a continuous basis and
the pool will remain active for one year. Screening of applications
will take place as positions become available and continue until
positions are filled. Applicants must have a master's degree in
music or evidence of significant professional experience. Demonstrated
evidence of excellent and successful college level teaching experience
appropriate to our needs is desirable.

job announcements received from other universities, primary and
secondary schools, local churches, and symphony or other ensemble
auditions. See the Receptionist for the exact location of the Jobs

Gig Book
We have an online listing of students who are interesting in performing
for pay. Students who would like to be added to the Gig Book should
go to the Community Relations Office in room 158 of the music building.
