Law Student Fellowship Program
Wayne Morse Fellowships offer an opportunity to follow in the tradition of Senator Morse, who was also dean of the University of Oregon School of Law. The Wayne Morse Center awards fellowships to three students from each law school class.

Applications were due 3 p.m. on Monday, February 20, 2012, for current students.
There is no application deadline for incoming students, but review of applications begins in early March and continues until all spots are filled.

How to Apply

"I came to law school to become a more effective advocate for progressive change. Being a Wayne Morse Fellow is one the few experiences in my lifetime which truly captures the interconnectedness of our world. I have become acutely aware that societal problems don't exist in isolated silos; the solutions to ecological and economic crises can be the same."
Elizabeth Brown, 2L

  • An opportunity to instigate and frame important discussions on campus.
