Take copies of the flyer advertising the Neuroscience Open House
if your visit is prior to April 3. Hand copies out to the kids to take
home. The flyers are on the shelf of the bookcase in Room 233 Huestis.
Or, write marvgl@uoneuro.uoregon.edu requesting the number of flyers you
need, and the the flyers will mysteriously appear in your mailbox.
Preserved brains for demonstration and dissection are available from Karen Larison (larisonk@uoneuro), Room 20 Huestis. These include sheep brains, and plastic embedded brains of serveral species.
A beautiful painted plastic model of a human brain is available from Vonda Evans (vevans@oregon, 6-4941) in room 38, Straub Hall. Vonda is making the model available for our demonstrations.

Health education calendars have been prepared for elementary school classrooms by Monte Matthews. If you are going to an elementary classroom, pick up a health ed calendar in room 233 Huestis. Give the calendar to your classroom teacher for use as he/she sees fit.
