In the Spring Term, 2012, it is very likely that Professor Frank Kolb of the University of Tübingen [Germany] will offer a course on "Troy: Legend & History". As of this posting, 3 June, 2012, the arrangements have not yet been completed, but we are very close.

Professor Kolb, who speaks excellent English, and has taught this course at Princeton and at Emory Universities. He writes that the course will treat 'very aspect of the theme, Troy, including the reception throughout antiquity and into the modern period."

I will be present for the first month of the course, but will then be going to Tübingen to offer a complementary course to German students [see the next entry].
