List of Standard Color Names

The color names appearing below are used in a <BODY BG=colorname> tag or anywhere else that a browser recogizes a standard color name. Note that older versions of browsers may not support this feature. Those colors listed below with an * represent a family of colors numbered one through four in addition to the regular name. One is lightest, four is darkest variant of the color. Note that there are 100 variants of gray (or grey, either is acceptable). In this case 1 is the darkest shade, 100 the lightest; GRAY75 is very close to "standard" gray.
