Following our decision in yesterday's DCC meeting to move forward with the DL mission statement, I have done a minor revision incorporating language referring to the Libraries' strategic directions. At first, I tried to map specific bullet points to a specific strategic direction. However, I soon gave that up because it seemed to me that most bullet points could be mapped to all 3 strategic directions, depending on how one interprets them. Rather than spend more time wordsmithing the document, I thought our time would be better served by taking it forward to Library Council basically as it is and getting group feedback.
