diglib: Fwd: ART on FILE annotation sample file
Hey MDLS, Systems, and AAA folks,
Below is a link to a sample set of annotations from Art on File. I
saved it is a text document and brought it up in Excel just for
fun. It was definitely readable but it would need some massaging as
Corey suspected. From my naive perspective, I thought the
descriptions were fairly rich and not something we could easily
duplicate. I am sure we will want to play with this sample prior to
getting any more.
As to Rob's other questions about the jpegs and thumbnails and the sample
TIFF?
I say yes, let's get the sample TIFF. But are we ready for the
jpegs? I think we need to have some process in place to check these
out first and I wasn't sure what else is on everyone's plate.

"Collections."
If this works for you I would be happy to email you our entire set
of
annotations in the next few days. I also have annotations in WORD files
if
this works for you.
Also, I can send you all of the JPGs and thumbnails for our
entire
collection along with a sample of the larger format TIF files
(15-18MG).
Please let me know. It was nice talking to you today and I'll let you
know
when we can deliver our first installment of images in May.
