On Thursday, May 3, 2001, members of the University of Oregon Women's Rugby Club embarked an epic journey to the infamous Maggotfest Rugby Tournament in Missoula, Montana. Though we had heard unbelievable stories of rugby spirit, they did not begin to do the actual experience justice. The Dirty Ducks played hard on (and off) the pitch and are proud of their 2-0-1 record in the tournament. However, Maggotfest is not all about winning, and we had a truly memorable time with all the friendly ruggers (some more friendly than others) we met.
