Subject: Call to Meeting - ORP Coalition

The next ORP Coalition meeting will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at 544 Ferry Street SE, Salem. We will meet in the conference room down the hall from the OUS Office of Government Relations.

On Friday, April 2, the State Board of Higher Education approved the submission of a legislative concept placeholder which will be filed on or before April 15.

There is much to be done and much to be considered in the next few months. I hope we can begin the discussions by airing all of our concerns and desired outcomes. Therefore, I would ask that you bring with you to this meeting a list of "principles" which you believe should be discussed among the group as we look toward future considerations and discussions about the Optional Retirement Program.
