Exploring Future Directions for the OUS faculty's Optional Retirement Plan:

Senate, the UO Chapter of the AAUP,
and the UO
Senate will jointly sponsor a presentation on the Optional Retirement
Plan. The session is a overview of PERS' influence on the ORP and
why plan managers are studying how to permit the plans to operate independently.
The session includes an overview of the legislative process, an introductory
discussion on retirement plan concepts to inform policy recommendations,
and an opportunity for faculty and staff to discuss the ORP. It will take
place on Wednesday 28 April 2004 from 1500-1700 in 182 Lillis.
