The meeting I have proposed for the week of October 18 would be held in Salem, exact location tbd.

Dear Stakeholders,

The Oregon University System has requested legislation to amend the OUS Optional Retirement Program. Legislative Counsel is presently drafting the legislation.

Before finalizing the draft, further discussions are necessary with the ORP Stakeholder/Coalition group.

It is my intent to present for discussion two options for potential amendments to the ORP: A) basic housekeeping amendments; or B) complete decoupling from PERS with a second opportunity for members to enroll in the ORP.

Please respond as soon as possible with your availability for a meeting the week of October 18 - 22. Thank you.
