The sites listed and linked from this page are by no means a comprehensive list of all the resources on the Web that relate to the topics covered in this workshop, or to the areas that interest its participants. It is intended to be a "starter list" of resources to consider and evaluate, as you begin the long process of researching and compiling your own resources for your particular educational setting.

Free Services

The web sites listed in this section are examples of free services that do not require that you have access to your own server or server space; i.e., you can use the server space as allowed by these organizations, companies and institutions. Typically, you will need to register and will be required to log in each time with a password.

Milken Online Assessment Tool

Educators take the surveys at this site to assess their level of expertise with technology. At the end of the survey, resources for self-improvement and help are suggested.

A free, non-profit organization of Internet professionals who give their time to provide discussion board services to the Internet community.

Web page space, quiz generator, and other teacher tools available. Free service, but you must register and log in o use it.
