Getting Started:
Addressing participants' questions and requests.Oral review of Day 3 activities.
Daily announcements and planning.
E-mail and Mailing lists:
Checking mail from TESL-L and other lists.Additional email features: Organizing folders, using the address book, creating signature files.
Developing Navigator Skills:
Additional web browser skills: Searching for useful material for a class lesson, bookmaking web sites, saving pages to floppy disk (and converting to document files), opening web pages in MS Word, editing pages in MS Word.
Searching the Web for Useful Material
Creating One's Own Homepage (Advanced Participants):
Publishing at Geocities or Homepage.
