Chip Camp

Chip Camp is an week-long, expense-paid summer immersion program at the University of Oregon. The camp provides undergraduates with a glimpse into the fascintating chemistry of the microelectronics industry and the career opportunities available within it.

Physics & Chemistry Industrial Internship Master's Progam

Launched by the Materials Science Institute (MSI) in the summer of 1998, the Industrial Internship Master's Program combines classroom instruction and laboratory work with a six- to nine-month industrial internship. Students can expect to earn 30 credits and $2,000 to $3,000 a month during the internship portion of the program. With the additon of 12 credits in physics or chemistry, students receive a master's degree.

Chemistry Ph.D. Internship Program

The chemistry Ph.D. version of the internship program helps compliment the regular Ph.D. program by offering students a chance to add an industrial perspective to their research.
