Libraries: The UO Libraries comprise of the Knight Library, the largest research library in the state of Oregon, and several branch libraries. The Knight Library has many specialized resources that are valuable to business, including an extensive collection of current journals, aerial photographs, census data, governmental regulations, and corporate directories. Additionally, the Knight Library's Special Collections contains photographs, architectural drawings, sheet music, and videos.
Through the Oregon Card Program, the University of Oregon Libraries offer free borrowing to any person who can provide proof of a current mailing address and is 16 or older.
Outdoor Program: The Outdoor Program sponsors numerous outdoor and wilderness outings, such as rafting, biking, hiking, windsurfing, and backpacking throughout the year. The program also sponsors campus slide shows, clinics and educational programs, and serves as Eugene's backcountry information and resource center. Non-UO students can participate in trips and events by joining the co-op for $15 a year.
EMU Craft Center: The Craft Center serves the hobbyist to the serious artist, offering well-equipped studios in ceramics, fibers, glass, jewelry, photography, and woodworking. Research Park employees can purchase a studio pass which entitles you to use the facilities and tools in the Craft Center during the term for which the pass is purchased.
University Theatre: The University Theatre is the independent production wing of the theater arts program which sponsors a variety of productions each year. Research Park employees can purchase a Season Pass or tickets for a single production, and receive the faculty/staff discount which is 20-25% less than the general public prices.
