Welcome! Thank you for your interest in the Folklore Studies Program at the University of Oregon. Click on the links to the right to learn how to apply to the program.

A thesis or fieldwork project is required for completion of the degree. Students working toward a Master's degree must demonstrate competence in a foreign language. Master's or doctoral students in the English or anthropology departments may choose to concentrate in Folklore Studies. A limited number of assistantships are available to Folklore graduate studies.
