The Randall V. Mills Archives of Northwest Folklore is a repository of fieldwork collections and research materials on folklife in Oregon and the Pacific Northwest. Collections include books and periodicals; student and faculty research papers and fieldwork projects; fieldwork photographs and sound recordings; and documentary videos.
As part of UO Folklore Studies, the Archives supports students in the study of folklore and it provides training opportunities in the management of cultural collections. The Archives also makes collections available to the public for study and appreciation.
Guides to collections are published in the Northwest Digital Archives.
Selected items in collections are available online in the Northwest Folklife Digital Collection.
Current projects to improve access to collections are supported in whole or part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Library Services and Technology Act, administered by the Oregon State Library.
