Subcommittees:
Riverfront Research Project-An email was sent to Dan Williams regarding last month's discussion on the campus Review Committee. Dave Hubin addressed that request. If a position becomes available on the Riverfront Review Committee, the decision as to filling that position will be made at that time. Any refills would come from the original represented group. The committee and subcommittee meetings are open to the public. The subcommittee on land use may be of most interest to EIC members. Theodore Palmer is that subcommittee chair, those with land use issues should contact him. 'RRPreview@list' is available for the committee or individual members to send comments to Riverfront Review Committee members. Committee work is expected to be completed by 9/98. University President Frohnmayer will then make a decision. A consultant will also be used to consider the viability of a Research Park and how it would be managed to make it most efficient.
Environmental Policy-Final draft of implementation plan was distributed to the full committee, need comments back by Monday, June 8th.
*Kay will be in contact with EI members regarding annual reports and emailing members about possible summer meetings.
