The
University of Oregon is dedicated to progressing as a sustainable campus,
and is involved in many different sustainability efforts.
Our
team's principle goals are to increase awareness of campus sustainability
efforts and to facilitate the use of alternative transportation to and
from campus, especially by University faculty and staff.
The
University offers several alternative
transportation programs. In order to promote these programs, we
are planning a variety of events
and happenings, for spring term.
We
have been researching the University of Oregon, and have created a campus
transportation profile. Beyond the University of Oregon, we are also
researching four other universities and their alternative transportation
programs, which can be seen on our case
studies page.
In
addition to our efforts in the realm of transportation, our team will
also be promoting the University's current sustainability projects by
creating pages on this website, an online tour of sustainability efforts
across campus, and posters.
