Top 6 Things You Should Know About the Advisory Committee:

  1. We are people from across the university and community who all hshare a passion for Disability Studies.
  2. We typically meet once a quarter on campus with meetings usually lasting two hours and the location varying depending on need.
  3. Our goal is to establish a Disability Studies Program at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
  4. Our current objectives include creating awareness of disability issues across the campus to stimulate interest in establishing a Disability Studies Program, building a supportive constituency and infusing disability content into the curriculum.
  5. We are a supportive network for students, faculty and administrators who are in the process of exploring, developing, expanding and including disability content in their chosen field of scholarship.
  6. To contribute or just learn more, we invite you to come join us! For more about meeting dates and times, contact Deborah Olson (541-346-2483, dlolson@uoregon.edu) or Heidi von Ravensberg (541-346-2472, hvr@uoregon.edu).
