Walking from the University: Starting from the math department or EMU,
go east on 13th (which is against the direction of the car traffic
on 13th). Take a right on Agate (so you will be heading south).
After a traffic light (on 19th) and a park on your left (at 20th),
take a left on 21st. You will be walking uphill (until you reach
our place, in fact).
Take a right on Fairmount, which then curves around to the left.
Take a right at the stop sign, which is at Spring -
there is no sidewalk at this
point, but cars know to look out for pedestrians. Walk up the hill to the
first stop sign, which is at a five-way intersection (portrayed as
a 2-way and 3-way intersection connected by a very short edge on the
map below). Take a hard left,
up Madrona. Madrona curves around the right (and becomes Highland, but
you won't notice), and the first right, onto a dead-end street, is
Woodland. We are at 2520 Woodland, the third house on the right.
Driving from out of town: take I-5 to I-105 (exit 194(?)). Take first exit
right on I-105, following signs towards the U of Oregon. Continue towards
the U of O on Frankin Boulevard. Take a right on Agate (main entrance
to the U) and then follow the walking directions above.
Driving or walking, etc. from south Eugene: Make your way to 24th
street and head east. Take a right on Columbia (which is one street to
the east of Agate - there will be signs for Laurelwood golf course).
Columbia ends/curves to the left at 27th. 27th ends at Spring, onto which
you take a left. The first intersection on Spring is the five-way
intersection mentioned in the previous directions. Take a gradual right
onto Madrona and follow directions above.
