Dan RuscittoGraduate Student Research Highlight: Dan is investigating the volatile contents (H2O, CO2, Cl, S) trapped in olivine-hosted melt inclusions from basalts and basaltic andesites of the Central Oregon Cascades. He is currently measuring and characterizing pre-eruptive volatile contents from the major suites of primitive lavas found in the High Cascades.
