The NAE's EngineerGirl website <www.engineergirl.org> is sponsoring an essay contest open to all students in grades 6-12. Students will write about how they think engineers have changed and continue to change the world, and will focus on one of the following three topics: engineering's great achievements, history's great engineers, and the future of engineering. Prizes will be awarded for top essays in each topic area in two age divisions, and winning essays in each topic area will be published on the EngineerGirl website.
