Nomenclature: Inorganic Acids
Instructions
Use this page to help you memorize the names and formulas
of the more common inorganic acids. This drill will
present you, at random, with either a list of formulas
or a list of names. If you are given a list of formulas,
enter the names of the acids in the spaces provided.
If you are given a list of names, enter the correct chemical
formulas in the spaces provided. Case is significant
in formulas, e.g. H20, not h2o.
Subscripts are entered as simple numbers, e.g.
H2SO4 would be entered as H2SO4.
Don't forget to use parentheses when they are required, e.g.
Ca(NO3)2.
Select "Check Answer" to see if your answer is correct;
select "Give Up" if you want to see the answer.
