CASL meeting 5/14/07 Present: Mel, Christina, Sam, Nick, Joe, Susan Also Present: Donny and Jordan, two students interested in applying for CASL coordinator positions. Donny has already applied, and Susan and Sam will be interviewing him on Friday. Jordan will look over the available positions on the website. Nick- update on the house: Rob Thallon has the key (checked out for a year from DPS to Sam Rusek) and he will be keeping it for the time being. We can check it out from Rob as needed. Garrett, Michael and Nick measured the house on Saturday and took a look at crawl spaces and attic as well, determining which walls were loadbearing and which were not (ie which will be easy to take out if we want to change room arrangement). Susan- PPP- still trying to get in touch with Cliff Dax of the Electronics Shop to schedule a workshop for us. Mel- Global Warming Awareness Day, Friday May 25. An opportunity for tabling. Mel also contacted law professors who will put her in touch with student environmental law org. (\"Land Air Water?\") Christina- sent an email to SBG. Discussion of visiting classes and spreading the word about CASL. We have already been to some classes, as evidenced by the two visitors at our meeting who heard about us in class! Susan\'s note: Class visits are timely now... because next week\'s meeting will be a longer one specifically about selections. Let\'s have snacks too. May 26th paper making workshop- Christina. Using Jo Rodgers\' papermaking equipment from BRING. Absentee update: Maddie scheduled the tour of BRING recycling for Wed. May 23rd at 4 pm.
