CASL Minutes 4/30/07

Coordinator Updates:
Potluck, Maddie stopping by Phillip’s to ask about potluck.
BRING: Possibly on May 19th or June 2nd, Maddie talked to Jo, bus?

Mel: is talking to Martini (at PPPM) at the end of the week about writing for the PIE grant

Sam: dropped off letter to Frohnmayer

Susan: Has been trying to get a hold of Rob Thallon.  Has been trying to get a hold of the ASUO executives.  Apparently there is a letter, has not been sent.

Meeting with Steve Mital Wed 9:00am, his office.  
Ask about job expansion (due to President’s commitment), update him about what we have been up to.  Christina, Emma, Maddie and Sam going. 

Paper making event: use scattered seeds, Maddie and Christina collaborating to make workshop. Thank you cards. 

Emma:  extra money in the phone budget.  We could transfer phone money out.
We have money to spend on workshops.

Selections:
Two applications: Christina and Britni.  Who can meet with applicants?  May 14th decide positions.  Tuesday the 8th at 11:00 to meet Britni.  Questions, writing up o

Advisory board meeting: May 7th, 7:00 at Karyn Kaplan’s House.  Sam will e-mail directions and agenda by Wed.

Christina has been working on thank you card, cool expanded CASL logo.

Using budget: BRING tour won’t use much money.  Paper making workshop, 5/26, find screens.  Library additions.  Shirts!
