CASL Meeting Minutes Oct 11, 2006 Present: Spruce, Bob, Danielle, James, Garrett, Susan. Present for the first time: Sam, Darryn, Emma. Notetaking: Susan. Meeting time for the term is set: Wednesdays 9-10 am. Darryn let us know about his project to create an on-campus biodiesel generator, inspired by S. America\'s diesel to biodiesel infrastructure. Possible location: Urban Farm. CASL is poised to recieve a house from the University! Bob gave an update on its status: the Memorandum of Understanding, to be generated by AAA, is now in Rob Thallon / AAA\'s court. It should happen by next week\'s meeting, if not, we will remind him. 2 houses on Moss St are possible sites for CASL. Getting information on the one that\'s currently occupied: Get assessments from Cathy Soutar. Task force: Bob, Emma, Sam. Our next public event: Thursday Oct 26 at 6 pm, in the EMU Fir Room Garrett will make a presentation on his time at CCAT. CASL will present our work here at the UO. Both will have slides. Advertising task team: Danielle and Emma, others as needed (Susan) to contact Eugene Weekly and put together a poster for next week. Food for the event: from Holy Cow? Donations? Emma agreed to check CASL\'s email account for now, as well as the ASUO Box. We brainstormed events and workshops for the rest of the term.
