Scribe: Patty Agenda: The purpose of this meeting is to re-evaluate our goals and objectives. Aspects of Goals- House university faculty CASL students Community (not house specific) students/co-ops EPA Education/outreach home and work ============== We decided to initially do a brainstorm session of our vision for CASL. I have roughly separated these out into three catagories (this is open to re-arranging): 1) Activities: -recycling computers -water capture -permaculture/organic gardening -library -research facility 2) Visions: -resource center for community/students -holistic approach to sustainability -modeling lyfestyles -\"anti-cult\" (open to all) -fosters/builds community -systems design -not \"hippie\" (applies to all social groups) -educating future generations -honest, exposed, beautiful -outreach, diversity -synergy, cooperation -resource use -connection to the outside -interdiciplinary 3) Values -alter social conscienceness -simplicity -optimism -create a deep understanding of sustainability -nurturing indavidual strength -empower of conscience choice -awareness of the future -responsiveness ============ What needs to happen in the next six months?
