JULY 1, 2003: Meeting Summary & Action Plan present: Margaret, Justin, Kelsy, Joshua (landscape architect, cofounder of Seeds of Change), James, Adam (architecture student), Bob, Jo 1. LOGO: Justin brought over a dozen logo designs which we whiddled down to a few. Justin plans on reworking one to have a few versions which he\'ll email to the group hopefully by early next week so that we can take a vote. Susan emailed a couple designs which I didn\'t get until after the meeting. They look great & should be added to our vote. I\'ll forward those to the group in a separate email. (thanks for all the hard work, Justin & Susan!!) 2. BROCHURE: as soon as we get the logo finalized, we\'ll get a brochure together. Kelsy is heading this up and she is hoping to have something put together in time for the Country Fair to have some CASL info at the EDC\'s table in Energy Park. Justin, Adam, (& Susan?) are also helping out with this effort. 3. WEBSITE: Bob got the new links set up (we\'ll soon be able to get to CASL\'s website thru the UO\'s home page search engine). For now, it\'s routed through the EDC which for some reason isn\'t working for me right now so Bob or James, will you please send that to the list serve? Once that\'s figured out, James has requested that we give him feedback on it including lay-out, links, etc. 4. EDC NEWSLETTER: we\'ll get an article with a CASL update submitted to the EDC newsletter (deadline needs confirmation). Kelsy and Jo will be getting that together. 5. SUBGROUPS: One element for the website that was suggested is a page with the subgroups and a communication link for each so that anyone working on a particular area can contact all the others at once. As of now, these are the people who are down for the main subgroups that are currently going on: LOGO: Justin, Susan FUNDRAISING: Margaret, Spruce, Leda, Dean, & Jo with Bob & Joshua playing a more editorial role. BROCHURE: Kelsy, Justin, Adam, Susan (?) WEBSITE: James, Bob, Susan, Kelsy RESEARCH: Justin, James, Patty 6. NEXT MEETING: to be determined. Thanks for hosting the meeting, Bob, and thanks to those who came. The toilet & fire pole alone were worth coming over for! best, Jo
