The list is open to members of the CALL Interest Section only.
PURPOSE
We intend this to be a *low volume* list. We are fortunate to have
other forums available for exchanging information on CALL theory and
practice. These lists are described at the end of this message for
those who would like to join them.
Postings on this list will be of the following nature:
- Mentoring of CALL-IS members facing problems with CALL research or
implementation.
- Discussion of issues related to the implementation and impact of
educational technology on society
- Discussion of TESOL's policies and activities related to information
technology and society.
- Administrative announcements and discussion of CALL-IS activities
- Information on updates to information on the CALL-IS website
- Advance notification of the CALL-IS events at TESOL Conventions
- Announcements of CALL-related conferences, journals, calls for
papers, etc.
- Requests for staff/volunteers for CALL-IS activities such as proposal
readers, Electronic Village guides, special event coordinators, etc.
- Searches for regionally-specific consultants and lecturers on
CALL topics
