Week 1: Jan. 5

DAY 1 - Reading: "Zen and the Art of Burglary"* (check the Readings link, if you were absent)

Read the Course Description handout (in the future "handout" will be abbreviated as HO) and bring in any questions about the class; Read "Missionary Childhood" HO (check the Readings link, if you were absent), and write down 3 questions you have about the reading.

IMPORTANT: The format for essay 2 is: an introduction, ONE summary paragraph (combined all summaries in one paragraph 10-12 sentences ONLY!), at least TWO analysis paragraphs and a conclusion.
