Notes for Instructors

Here are some ideas on how to use Demography in the classroom and laboratory. First, we provide some publications and web sites dealing with population growth and human population issues. Second, we provide some activities that instructors (and students!) can do to help them understand the program and its capabilities. Third, we describe activities used in classes at the University of Oregon. Instructors should feel free to modify these materials to suit their needs. Finally, we describe how instructors can take advantage of some of Demography's features to help prepare learning materials.
