- HW1 due Wednesday January 14: Read section 11.1, making sure
you understand the definitions in Table 11.1 really well!

- HW4 due Wednesday February 4: Read section 11.5 and then review all of chapter 11 (except 11.6 which we won't cover). Problems from section 11.4: 8,10,11,12,14,16,17,24,25.

- HW5 due Wednesday February 11: We have a midterm on Tuesday February 10. The material for this will be sections 11.1 through 11.5. I'd recommend you attempt this week's homework *before* the midterm too as another good way of preparing for it. Here also is a practise midterm with solutions to give you extra practise.
Despite the midterm, homework is due on Wednesday in class as usual.

Problems from the supplementary exercises to chapter 11: 5, 6, 15(c), 22 (hint: suppose its planar and get a contradiction by thinking about the dual graph -- why does every vertex in this graph have degree at least three?).
