Abstract: The Bach tensor appears as the first variation of the
Weyl energy functional ∫ |W|2 in dimension n=4. One may
formulate an associated geometric flow, called the Bach flow, on which
the functional is monotonic. We use semigroup methods to prove
dynamical stability of this flow at the flat torus and round sphere.
