Part Three: McMillan (Chapters 12-14) Chapters 2-5 Yin By the end of week three you should have scanned all of the three research texts (McMillan Yin, Gummeson), and be ready to select the research method you will use for your study. The specific portions of texts listed for each week are to be read more carefully and be used in class or group discussion. |
Each week you will deposit results of individual work in class folder and discuss
with your small group. For example this week each of the following should be approximately
a paragraph to a page. Write your first approximation of a description of the larger problem addressed in your study.Attach abstracts of studies you have found. Revise your approximation repeatedly in weeks to follow as you find additional references. |
Find at least three studies that address your larger problem area. Look in Dissertation
Abstracts and bring abstracts of studies you find applicable. |
