Method: If you haven't already done so, do a mini-trial of the methods and
procedures you plan to use. Know Thyself: As you plan your methodological approach to your study, does it match how you like to spend your time. That is, if you plan many hours of literature or document study, do you enjoy long quiet isolated hours of reading. If you plan many hours of structured or unstructed interviews, do you feel capable of and do you enjoy the process of carefully directed conversation and the necessary coding, analysis, interpretation and follow-up this inplies? |
