Formulate Groups Schedule, plan and hold first meeting. Your face to face group meetings and SHARING OF WRITING provide support for your individual work. They are intended to eliminate the possibility of individuals freezing and being left behind in process of developing a first approximation of a research proposal. |
Topic/Problem:Describe and define. What area of inquiry is your masters project
going to address? Know Thyself: Circle diagrams or web maps of life now and in five years. What role can your chosen research play to facilitate your obtaining your long term goals?The diagrams are confidential to you. However, be prepared to share the research and long term goals relationships. |

Part One: McMillan (Chapters 1-5) Chapter One:Yin By the end of week three you should have scanned all of the three research texts (McMillan Yin, Gummeson), and be ready to select the research method you will use for your study. The specific portions of texts listed for each week are to be read more carefully and be used in class or group discussion. |
Each week you will deposit results of individual work in class folder and discuss
with your small group. For example this week each of the following should be approximately
a paragraph to a page. Define your topic and state as best you can what problem you will address within this topic. How does this fit with your life goals? Record reading comments and questions each week. Record website questions. |
