TRiO and USP Programs

Academic Learning Services (ALS) supports two federally-funded TRiO programs that assist the needs of specific student populations. These programs include:

1.  Student Support Services (SSS), which provides free support and services to many non-traditional students to help their pursuit of bachelor's degrees.

2.  McNair Scholars Program, which helps prepare eligible students for Ph.D. programs.

ALS also supports the Undergraduate Support Program (USP), which provides academic assistance to students selected when admitted to the University of Oregon. Students are notified if they are eligible for this program.
