Roger Chope taught accounting and statistics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Michigan Technological University before returning to the University of Oregon.
His interests focus on financial reporting and the effect of accounting policy and reporting decisions on users of financial statements. He has assisted numerous small businesses in implementing accounting and information systems. In addition, he has consulted in the public sector in the area of reporting by not-for-profit health and welfare organizations.
