Community Arts Undergraduate Minor Offered through the Arts Administration Department. The Community Arts Minor offers students an opportunity to enhance their current Major focus with the study of Arts as an integral facet of culture.

Students will explore the relationships between arts and culture, ethnicity, politics, gender, science, economics, class, education and occupation.

Students graduating with this minor will be prepared to facilitate citizen participation in the arts and community and understand methodologies for arts program development.

The minor requires 28 total credits, 20 of which must be in the Arts Administration area. 8 can be either AAD or related to the students field.

Course content ranges from the study of art as a powerful language in cultural change to event management, curriculum development and museum studies.
