- The African Americans and Japanese Society Welcomes You Back -
Since 1995, the African Americans & Japanese Society (AA&JS) has been devoted to the study of Afro-American
and Japanese intercultural relations within the contexts of business, education and interpersonal contact.
Today, AA&JS expands its focus beyond the national borders of Japan and the U.S.A., to better understand, among other topics, how all people's differences and similarities are interconnected at local levels.
- The Shocking and Alarming State of Globalizing Conditions -
It is highly ironic how the most popular
forms of media and entertainment programs perpetuate stereotypic portrayals of everyday peoples and contribute to furthering both cultural and interpersonal divides. On the other hand, many academicians
fail to design the necessary, unique research that can help people make peaceful connections with human diversity.
The modern world finds itself in an alarming state of arrested development owing to the myths that enshroud the topic of cultural diversity.
- AA&JS Embarks Upon A New Journey -
At AA&JS, we help individuals and organizations make better, well-informed decisions about differences and similarities in today's world cultures. With this approach, informed decisions can enable their interpersonal relationships to develop and businesses to grow.
