Located in the Knight Law Center, the UO School of Law boasts strong programs in environmental and oceanic law, dispute resolution, business and entrepreneurship, and public interest law. It is home to the Wayne Morse Center for Law and Politics. Founded in 1884, the UO law school was one of the first western schools to be elected to the Association of American Law Schools (1919) and the first Pacific Northwest law school to be accredited by the American Bar Association (1923).
