Korea's Hanyang University presents Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art with important gift

Charles Lachman, curator of Asian art, and Lawrence Fong, associate director, recently
traveled to Korea where they were presented with a beautiful mother-of-pearl inlaid box by Hanyang University president Chong Yang Kim. This important gift to the museum commemorates the strong ties between the two universities, which have several academic exchange programs already in place. In the future, the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art and Hanyang University Museum hope to collaborate on loans and other programs.
