FACULTY INSTITUTES
A series of one-week summer institutes and follow-up activities for college and university faculty who wish to change their students' physics learning environment to a more active one. All Summer Institutes have already been offered Summers 2005-08 at Dickinson College and University of Oregon. Followup ABPFI Symposia will be held at the two national AAPT meetings in 2009, Winter in Chicago and Summer in Ann Arbor. Participants in the 2005-2008 ABPFI can apply for a travel stipend.
University and two-year college faculty, and faculty from colleges and universities that serve significant populations of under-prepared and/or under-represented groups are especially encouraged to apply.
