Quiz Format

The weekly quizzes will test the students' reading.  Each quiz, which will last about 10 minutes, will involve

    1. fill-in-the-blank questions based directly on comprehension of the reading up to and including the assignment for the day of the quiz.
    2. a passage of text for which you must identify the context and comment on the significance.
