Marc Weinstein
RESEARCH ASSOCIATE

Marc Weinstein received a Ph.D. in Labor Relations from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1996. He joined the University of Oregon faculty the same year and has been a LERC faculty member since December 2003. Dr. Weinstein does research on a broad range of issues in occupational health and safety.

Together with Steve Hecker, he is co-principal investigator on projects funded by the Center to Protect Workers Rights to study and promote the diffusion of ergonomic innovations in the construction industry. He has also has published on ethical issues related to advances in toxicogenomics research and continues to receive support from the National Human Genome Research Project for this work.

He also is collaborating with Professor Nancy Glass of Oregon Health Science University on a grant from National Institutes of Health grant to develop workplace interventions for survivors of intimate partner violence.
