Helen Moss
INSTRUCTOR

Helen Moss joined the faculty of the University of Oregon's Labor Education and Research Center in 1999. She teaches many of LERC’s core labor education classes as well as developing curricula and coordinating much of the safety and health training program. She also coordinates U-LEAD, LERC’s certificate program.

She has conducted research projects on health care professionals, intimate partner violence, and job quality for hotel workers.

Prior to coming to LERC, Moss worked as an organizer and advocate for various public and private sector unions, including UFW, HERE, SEIU and AFT. She has a Bachelor's degree in Labor Studies from San Francisco State University, a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and a Master's Degree in Post-Secondary Education from Portland State University. 

Moss serves on the board of Oregon LERA, Labor and Employment Relations Association.
