Include the following

• Title: may be tentative and may be descriptive. Examples:
  • The Roman Household
  • The Battle of Cannae
  • Note that the Index to Roman Civilization provides an excellent starting point for getting ideas and directs you to the most important evidence.
• A statement of what you want to do with the subject. At this point you may have more questions than answers, and that is fine.
• What kind of sources have you found for the subject? Here is where we can give you some important feedback. The Internet can help with this part of the project. All of the ancient writers are on line.
• I would like the project to be visual, so select a project that lends itself to such a presentation.

Finally, remember that the visualization has to be built around the sources. You may use PowerPoint, but you may also draw on paper or photocopies.
